How we make them

The Process

Every companion is modified by hand here in the UK. Here is exactly what that involves, from the plush we start with to how you keep it clean.

1

We start with an existing plush

Every Fushy companion begins as a ready-made plush toy, chosen for its size, fabric quality and how well it will take a modification. Some we source ourselves; others are plushies you already own and send to us to be modded.

Choosing a well-made plush at the start matters more than anything that follows. A dense, well-stitched body holds the SPH in shape and keeps the finished piece feeling like a proper cuddly companion rather than something with a hole in it.

2

We measure before we cut

Nothing is cut until the opening has been measured and planned. The diameter is sized to do two jobs at once: to comfortably take a standard sleeve-style toy, and to be comfortable for use on its own without one.

That balance is the fiddly part, and it is why we measure per plush rather than working to a single fixed size. If you would prefer a different diameter or depth, custom measurements can be requested — just tell us what you need before we start.

3

We build the SPH in waterproof nylon

The SPH itself is built from waterproof pink nylon. It is chosen for two reasons: it wipes clean easily and does not absorb fluid, and it is tough enough to hold its shape through repeated use.

In short, it is built for durability — ready for the most passionate of friendships, and still in good order afterwards.

4

The SPH is fully reversible for cleaning

The nylon sleeve is designed to be pulled back out of the plush and turned inside out, so the whole surface can be cleaned properly after each use, then pushed back in.

This is the part we would most encourage you to actually do. Because the nylon is waterproof, cleaning is quick, and keeping on top of it is what keeps your companion fresh for the long run. Take a little care easing the sleeve in and out rather than tugging at it.

5

Using it with a sleeve-style toy

If you would like to use a sleeve-style toy (a Fleshlight or similar) inside the plush, the easiest method is to pull the nylon out and reverse it first. Place the base of the toy against the tip of the reversed nylon, then push the two in together.

Worth knowing: nylon against silicone creates some friction, so it can feel stiff going in. Working slowly rather than forcing it makes this much easier. A little water-based lubricant on the outside of the toy also helps it slide, and is kind to the toy itself — silicone-based lubricants can degrade silicone over time.

Want it built to your measurements?

Diameter, depth and placement can all be adjusted — and we are happy to mod a plush you already own. Tell us what you have in mind and we will let you know what is possible before anything is committed to.

What customers say

"Excellent quality mod, feels great in use. The mod's fabric feels to be of good quality — and though it can be a little less comfortable if you're more sensitive 'down there', that's easily solved with 'protection'. The fabric appears water-resistant, if not waterproof. The seller reached out multiple times while the order was 'open' to keep me updated on its status. Although this was a premade, the time to ship was short. Overall, a perfect cuddly friend both in and out of the bedroom ;3"
